In June 1999, started working with 80 to 100 children at the Railway platform Itarsi. January 2000, at Railway Mazdoor Union office as Day Care Centre. In October 2001, Local administration offered their place for the temporary 24*7 accommodation for the children. In 2001, with the support of British couple Ashley and Jain Butterfield purchased a piece of land and constructed the Boy`s Home. May 2003, Day Care Centre re-started with West Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organization at Itarsi. In 2007, we started a home for girls in a rented building. In 2009, built a separate Home for boys and girls accommodated in the old boys’ home. In 2010, started working with Hoshangabad District administration for the Child Right Forum. In 2011, From the Ministry of Women & Child Development received a fit Institution Certificate to run a Child home. In 2016, In collaboration with the District Police Department worked on the issue of rag picking children at Itarsi Slum called “Udaan” Centre. In 2018, Started Child Help Desk (1098) at Itarsi Railway station. In 2020-21, In COVID-19 Pandemic support provide to migrant and vulnrable families in Itarsi, in partnership with Jiv Daya Foundation, Delhi. In 2021, 5 KV New solar system were installed in SPARC and CHIRAG by EREDA. In 2021, Theme based audit was successfully conducted for "Child Care" at Itarsi Railway Station by the Comptroller & Auditor General Office (Zonal, Jabalpur). In 2022, SHG group formed with working women at Itarsi Railway and Start Community family support and development program.
